What couples ask before booking a wedding magician in the San Juan Islands

When during the wedding do you perform?
Most couples book me for cocktail hour. While you’re busy with photos, I move from guest to guest with close-up magic, so nobody stands around waiting. Some couples add a short stage set after dinner. It brings both families together in one big laugh right before the dancing starts.
How long do you perform?
Usually 45 to 60 minutes, up to 90 on request, built around your timeline. Walkaround magic during cocktail hour, a stage set at the reception, or both. I bring all props and my own wireless headset mic, and I coordinate the details with your planner or venue.
Do you travel to weddings on all the San Juan Islands?
Yes. I live on Orcas Island, so ferries are part of my everyday life. I perform at weddings on San Juan Island, Lopez and Orcas, from Roche Harbor to Friday Harbor, and at destination weddings anywhere in the US and Canada. Travel is part of your custom quote, no surprises later.
Is the magic right for all our guests?
Yes. From grandparents to the flower girl, everyone gets the joke. The magic is clean and interactive, and I only invite guests on stage who enjoy the spotlight. Nobody gets embarrassed on your big day.
Can you perform in German?
Yes. I’m German and perform in English and German. For international families that means both sides of the room laugh at the same moment. I’ve performed at weddings in Germany and here in the Pacific Northwest.
